Versie (Lightford) Monteiro, 83, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away on February 25, 2026. She was the eldest daughter of the late John Henry Lightford and Queen Ann Jordan Lightford. She was a 1961 graduate of Brockton High School. After graduation, she worked in the manufacturing industry in Brockton. In addition to working, Versie enjoyed reading and listening to music. She leaves a host of relatives to mourn her passing.
