Karen Louise (Lloyd) Cornwell

Karen Louise (Lloyd) Cornwell, 75, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. Born in Greenville, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Esther G. (Johnson) Lloyd.

Karen was the beloved wife of John Wesley Cornwell; cherished mother of Breanne M. Stapleton and her husband Ryan of West Bridgewater; loving grandmother of Thomas, Benjamin, and Samuel Stapleton; dear sister of Donna L. Warren and her husband Joseph, Karla L. Sanborn and her husband William “Will”, and the late Gail Lloyd Yeskis; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

For many years, Karen lovingly cared for countless children through her home daycare, where she was known for her warmth, patience, and loving spirit. She touched the lives of many families and was a trusted and devoted caregiver to the children in her care.
